Time, Space, Comics ,and Everything

A friend of mine and I have been kicking back ideas for a comic I've working on for some time. I tell you, concepts are an easy thing to grasp but when you actually try to create a universe within a comic the size of a universe, it get's tricky. The actual taking into account of the intricate nature of how everything correlates is a task harder to capture than a Lugia with one pokeball, not even a great ball. We're talking about a lot of forces here and what these forces are beyond our dimension. I mean time is an illusive bastard but what does it mean on a universal scale, and in what context. A fun little topic that can keep you up to the wee hours of the night trying to turn your brain off.

Injustice: Gods Among Us

Checked out the new game coming out, Injustice, and it looks cool as most games striving for nice looking graphics. While watching the developers demonstration there were a few things that I unfortunately had in mind almost instantly.

1. Yes, I have grown to acknowledge these characters in their iconic costumes, but it is a fighting game so a redesign was to be in order (even though in the comics and cartoons they usually stick to an acute range of design, no matter it gets a pass...barely)

2. Avoid logic like how could the Joker punch Lex Luthor (mind you in his warsuit) through a building or in Batman's case, who I'm a big fan of, but we can't kid ourselves, if he was thrown top speed, hitting multiple metal pipes along the way , he'd be pretty dead (until the next reboot of course)

3. The developer talking said "like Mortal Kombat" one time too many. In a new fighting game if you're trying to set the tone that is a new fighting platform and all that, you shouldn't bring up another game in the context he presented. It just makes the viewer, at the least, unconsciously see it as a copy which decreases quality.

In the end, until it comes out, will I or anyone else who had technical issues with what they saw, to know if overall game absolves it from neurotic sense to nit-pick the little things.

On a side note, when I saw the video I saw no one actually blocking so I investigated. There is a block its just, you know, pressing back but people were like "What! No block button, I'll have to get used to that", and as a street fighter player primarily it's like "the fu-". The whole statement kinda irked me.

Link to watch Injustice 15 minutes of gameplay (14:03 to be exact haha)
